Protein & Fiber...and Fat
Why balance still matters, even when foods are “healthy”
Lately, protein and fiber have completely taken over the internet. Every other post is about hitting protein goals and increasing fiber. But at the same time, many “what I eat in a day” videos are unknowingly overloading dietary fat at nearly every meal. Avocado on toast, olive oil drizzled generously, heaping scoops of nut butter on snacks, seeds sprinkled everywhere. None of this is inherently bad, but it does raise an important point.
Protein and fiber deserve the spotlight, but fat still matters. Even good fat can become too much, especially if your goal is weight maintenance or weight loss.
